Are the tiles stock items - How long for delivery?

Approx 95% of all tiles displayed on the web site are carried in stock & can be despatched for delivery in 1-2 working days. Special order items / imported products may take between 3 - 5 weeks.


Could I tile onto a wooden floor?

No problem with tiling onto a wooden floor, but the floor must be overlaid with marmox type boarding or an alternative product, and a flexible adhesive and grout are to be used.


How do you cut tiles made from natural products e.g marble, slate?

Natural products need to be cut with a suitable wet wheel cutter. Please view our Accessories, to browse the products that we have available.


Can I buy single sheets of tiles or do I have to purchase complete boxes?

You can purchase whatever quantity you require. Different products may be priced in various ways, Per Sheet - Per Unit - Per Pallet. All prices are stated underneath the image of every item on our website.


Do you deliver and if so is there a charge?

Our standard delivery charge is £20.95 inclusive of VAT, with various other delivery options available, including Free delivery on orders over £100. Please view our Delivery Information for more details.


Do you accept credit cards?

All major credit/debit cards are accepted. Cards we accept Visa Credit, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Solo, Maestro & Visa Electron


Do you provide free samples?

All samples are chargeable, but we will pay the postage & packaging to get them to you with our standard service taking 2 - 4 working days or alternatively pay £5.95 for our next day express service. Please view our Samples page for more details.


If I supply the measurements could you calculate the area for me?

Yes, if you email us or you can use the tile calculator


Can I collect tiles from your warehouse?

Yes, except on Sundays, our main warehouse in situated at Henson Way in Kettering. We would advise you to call us first to check stock. You must pay on collection, remember to print the product page you will be purchasing.

What are Porcelain tiles?

Porcelain tiles are manufactured from extremely pure materials and are fired at a very high temperature, which gives a fully vitrified body. A typical porcelain tile is made from 50% Feldspar, 30-40% white clay, up to 15% Kaolin and up to 15% quartz and other fusible materials. The result is a dense, strong tile with a superior performance compared to normal ceramics, including durability, abrasion, frost and chemical resistance and virtually impervious to water.
